Scrubbers, thermal oxidation and heat exchangers

With the German based company EITec-GmbHPlant CeramicForum proposes concepts for scrubber systems to reduce exhaust gas impurities (SOx - HF - HCl -particulate matter, etc. ).
Complete design - project engineering - construction - installation / commissioning - service & maintenance - world wide references.  Customized solutions for well known companies has resulted in a unique experienced, which has earned EITec-GmbH the well deserved label: "Innovative & flexible". CeramicForum is direct responsible for Sales & Marketing in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg, conducted from the CeramicForum head offices in France, whereas world wide representations are currently being set up through the CeramicForum network. For the North American market the Company EITec LP is based in Atlanta Georgia.

Desulfurisation bag-house / D.I.F.F. (Dry lime Injection Fabric Filter)

When sulphur contents are of very high concentrations, conventional cascades placed in series can block up, require extreme high maintenance survey and corrosion is inevitable. EITec-GmbH proposes Reactor + Filter Bag house exhaust air plant, which is commonly used in the waste disposal industry. In short: Exhaust gasses passing through a reactor where the contaminants are in contact with the re-agent fines. H2O can here be added to reduce to a desired temperature and activate the chemical reaction. The dry particles are then extracted in the bag filter house. The re-agent can be recycled or discharged in the waste silo.

Cascade fluor filter / D.L.A. (Dry Lime Adsorbers)

Picture on the left shows one of the largest exhaust air purification systems build by EITec-GmbH. Most common used at Roofing tile and brick plants, purifying the smoke gasses from HF, HCl, SOx amd dust within limits. Top section contains the silo (bin) with absorber material (re-agent).

This silo feeds the reactor section underneath which consists of vertically place cascades, containing the bulk absorber material. The exhaust air  flows horizontally through the cascades, scrubbing the air from impurities by means of reaction with the absorber granulate. (Calcium Carbonate / Calcium Hydroxide, etc.) Discharge unit and the design of the cascade ensure an even flow of the absorber material, whereas the the cascade specific dimensions and air pressure parameters ensure the homogenous flow with perfect reaction time.

The modular construction allows to custom design according to the study made for each application. Calcium Hydroxide is recalculated after being fed through a peeling drum underneath. The waste material could be crushed in an special EITec crushing plant and recycled.

R.T.O. (Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers)

When additives are used in bricks blocks like paper mash, polystyrene and/or sawdust, etc., Carbon Oxides are apparent and "post combustion" is the most effective solution. The thermal reacting part consists of chambers comprising heat exchanging refractory. An oxidation chamber with integrated burner is installed above the heat exchanger. Exhaust Air is heated by a first refractory heat exchanger where partial reaction takes place already, whereas final reaction is in the oxidation chamber. The hot purified air now heats up a second heat exchanging refractory bed to cool down and leaving through the chimney stack.

The heating up and cooling down of refractory beds is a reversible process by means of closing off and opening dampers in the various ducts by a computer program management, to minimise the heat loss and can even be autogenous, in case of sufficient organic contaminants within the exhaust air.

Tube heatexchangers

EITec the prefers the "Tubular" type heat exchangers: Air/air, air/water, or air/steam. In case of air/air, the exhaust gases are flowing through the pipes and the "new" recuperated air flow is around the pipes. This has the advantage that the exhaust gasses are in a temperature controlled "buffer" situation and there are no cold spots in corners like with the "plate" type heat exchangers. An aditional hot by-pass feature is installed as a security and is activated in case temperatures of the exhaust gasses at the exit are getting too close to the condensation point. Tubelar type heat exchangers with this temperature controlled by-pass can therefor be installed straight after the kiln exhaust, reducing also the air volume and therefor ductwork & scrubber dimenstions. (= investment cost)

Tire2oil

Entering in to the decenia of sustainable, durable and waste to energy - EITec has invented a pantented "CoGenDis" process, where oil, gas, carbon black and scrap steel is recovered from "reversed processed" spend vehicle tyres. Complete turn-key projects are available for different annual quanitities.
